At Apptware, we are working on next phase of growth – Apptware 2.0 in which Sales & Marketing is the engine that drives our business forward.
As Sales Manager, you will be the primary architect of Apptware’s outbound engine. You will penetrate the India IT services/Product market, focusing on GCCs, ISVs, mid-market and enterprise accounts. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of hands-on lead generation, strategic market analysis, end to end sales cycle management.
Drives revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle for inbound/outbound leads, from initial contact and qualification to closing deals, ensuring high customer satisfaction and consistent pipeline growth.
We are looking for a highly experienced Sales Manager who will drive the results for new business acquisition along with the team. Need someone who is experienced in the IT services Industry and understand the India market very well and have consistently delivered in this role. This position will work closely with the Head – Sales in defining market reach-outs and generating business in the region.
This role is critical to the business growth at Apptware and hence will be
rewarding if the desired results are achieved by the individual.
Job Responsibility
Key responsibilities involve developing strategic sales plans, managing the sales pipeline, building client relationships, and achieving revenue goals through mentorship, data analysis, and collaboration with marketing, focusing on IT products/services, with key skills in prospecting, presentation, negotiation, forecasting, CRM, and market understanding.
- Sales Booking: Ensure to meet the Booking / Revenue targets
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and market share; analyze market trends and competitor activities.
- Pipeline & Target Management: Manage the sales pipeline, set KPIs, track progress, and ensure to meet monthly/quarterly quotas.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders; support high-value deal closures.
- Performance & Reporting: Analyze sales data, generate forecasts, and present performance metrics to senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Product, and other teams to align strategies and support campaigns.
- Customer Focus: Ensure exceptional customer service, address escalations, and act as a brand ambassador.
