Lead Python Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Python Developer with over 7 years of experience, who is passionate about backend development and eager to work with a dynamic team of engineers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and building high-quality, scalable solutions and will lead the backend development efforts for our next-generation applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Python-based applications.
  • Expertise in Python with hands-on experience in at least one web framework such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Design and implement secure, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Integrate data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ensure robust performance by understanding Python’s threading limitations and multi-process architecture.
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Guide the team in integrating with front-end technologies and ensuring accessibility and compliance standards.
  • Work with ORM libraries and maintain a clean, scalable codebase.
  • Utilize Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV for data-related operations when required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features.

Preferred Skills:

  • Willingness to work on multiple technologies such as Java, frontend frameworks, or Golang.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior developers.
