Apptware Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Engineer – Senior to join our talented team of innovators working in the Energy and Utilities sector. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Salesforce solutions tailored for the energy and utilities industry. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding the development team while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with extensive knowledge of the Energy and Utilities Cloud.
- Expertise in OmniStudio, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and Salesforce industry solutions.
- Understanding of energy and utilities industry processes such as customer data management, billing, metering, and demand response.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, providing technical guidance and driving best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and architect scalable solutions.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within deadlines.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest Salesforce technologies and development practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of the Energy and Utilities Cloud to optimize business processes and enhance customer experiences.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and architects to fine technical solutions.
- Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies, applying them to enhance system capabilities.
- Develop and maintain tailored Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and related technologies.
- Lead integration efforts with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and API integrations.
- Conduct performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure scalability and stability.
- Mentor team members and encourage adherence to best practices in Salesforce development.
- Provide training and support to both internal and external customers.
- Participate in Agile software development processes including stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Actively contribute to improving practices and processes within the development team.
- Guide and promote sustainability initiatives in alignment with the company’s Global Sustainability Task Force (GSTF).
- Manage customer relationships and support pre-sales and service delivery activities.
